The Kinsmen Club of Winnipeg was founded on February 20th, 1924, with our first meeting being held at the Marlborough Hotel in Downtown Winnipeg. Since then, we have grown to support many worthwhile causes not only in Winnipeg, but throughout Manitoba as well.

Kinsmen TV Bingo started as “Kingo Bingo” on CJAY-TV in September of 1968 by the Kinsmen Club of Winnipeg. It was broadcast on the first Saturday night of each month with one set prize per broadcast. It proved to be so popular that we moved to a weekly format in 1970 and changed the name to “Kinsmen Jackpot Bingo” with an accumulating Jackpot.

Winnipeg Kinsmen donates the money we raise through our various projects and fundraisers.
During our 2021 Kin Year (Aug ’21-July ’22) we donated over $5.2 Million to a wide-variety of charities across Manitoba.
