The Centre is dedicated to the memory of Bruce Oake. They have turned his life and death into something positive by setting forth the path of building a long-term treatment facility in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

The Help Save a Life Campaign will ensure no one is left behind at Bruce Oake because of the inability to pay for treatment and that all those seeking help can receive it through grants.
- The first phase of the program runs 16 weeks and can cost approximately 24 thousand dollars per resident, this is why it is important to donate towards this cause to help those who cannot afford it.
