They share practical solutions and advocate for change in green commuting, composting and waste reduction, sustainable living and resource conservation.

Green Action Centre believes all sectors of society have a shared responsibility to preserve and protect our environment such that the needs of present and future generations are met.
- They recently developed a waste reduction program for École River Heights School where students started off by learning basic information on climate change, circular waste systems, and advanced information on what items belong in what waste stream.

St. Boniface Street Links is a non-profit and registered charity which operates several programs for people struggling with homelessness and/or substance use.
- Their outreach team has been working hard and has housed over 300 individuals since early last year. This winter they have also been granted access to a City of Winnipeg owned building to operate a warming shelter in extreme cold weather.

Donation is in support of “The Coldest Night of the Year” national fundraising walk on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 4:00pm. Organizations in every major city across Canada will come together to raise funds to end homelessness. This year, Street Links will be representing Winnipeg!
