Charity – Child Nutrition Council of Manitoba

  • Child Nutrition Council of Manitoba is a charitable organization that supports school meal and snack programs. Schools apply for support for their programs to ensure all students have access to food during the school day to support their health and learning.
  • They provide grants and nutrition support to schools in every region of Manitoba.
  • The organization has a team of registered dietitians to help build relationships with schools to assist them in achieving their program goals in providing a school meal program that effectively meets the needs of their unique community.
  • This organization supports over 300 programs and is anticipating reaching over 40,000 students this school year.
  • Due to the needs in our province, they have a growing waitlist of schools who have requested support and are continually raising funds for existing programs so they can continue to operate.
  • To donate go to www.childnutritioncouncil.com, click on the Ways to Give page to donation, become a monthly donor or browse through the Program Support Shop to learn how programs are supported with your donation.
