• • Children’s Rehabilitation Foundation

    1. The Children’s Rehabilitation Foundation (CRF) exists to raise funds to improve the lives of Manitoba children and youth (birth to 21 years) living with physical and/or developmental disabilities who access services through the Rehabilitation Centre for Children (RCC). Funds donated to the Foundation support vital and vast programming not funded by other sources, custom adaptive equipment for children (bikes, walkers and iPads); leading-edge technology and pediatric rehabilitation research.

    2. The work of the CRF supports children and youth being active participants in their communities and achieving their potential. CRF encourages, promotes and supports diversity, equity and inclusion.

    3. CRF’s 2023 ambassador is Braelynn, an engaging and spirited seven-year-old diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy. Braelynn has the biggest personality and is wise beyond her young years. She has been supported by the talented team at the Rehabilitation Centre for Children most of her life. The care she has received has been impacted and enhanced by donor support of CRF.

    4. Children’s Rehabilitation Foundation has three hallmark annual events:

    o Cruisin’ To Change Lives, Sunday June 11 at the CMU campus (Grant & Shaftesbury). Cruisin’ is a peer-to-peer fundraising and community teambuilding event which attracts hundreds of fundraisers and participants;
    o Tee Off for Ability golf tournament, Tuesday July 18 at Southwood Golf & Country Club; and
    o A Night of Miracles Gala event, Friday October 13 at the Met

    5. This spring, CRF is engaged in its 25 Bikes campaign, a fundraising endeavor which provides children and youth with custom and adapted bikes. The bikes are therapeutic and give the gifts of independence, freedom and adventure. Each bike is very costly, ranging from $2000 to $6500 each. • Fundraiser – Kin Kar Raffle

  • Purchase you Kin Kar tickets today, there will be 1 lucky one winner drawn at the end of our raffle and the winner will have the opportunity to choose one of the following prizes: a 2023 Ford Bronco 4×4, a 2023 Ford Escape ST-Line Elite AWD or $35,000 cash. The vehicle will be ordered from Steeltown Ford in Selkirk, Manitoba 
  • Ticket prices are 1 for $10.00, 3 for $20.00, 10 for $50.00 and the final draw is on June 26^th, 2023
  • This is a raffle that keeps on giving, our charity partners and organizations selling tickets on our behalf also get to keep 50% of the proceeds from their ticket sales.
  • The lucky winner will be contacted via telephone within 48-hours following the raffle draw, and the winning ticket number and winner’s name will be posted online at the raffle website as well as the Winnipeg Kinsmen website following the draw
  • To participate you must be a resident of Manitoba OR physically located in Manitoba, a winner who is not the legal age of majority must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at the time of claiming their prize.
