  • Winnipeg Kinsmen recently donated $2,000 to Willow Place
  • Willow Place is Manitoba’s largest and most-utilized family violence prevention shelter
  • They count over 9,000 stays in a typical year and support 850-950 women and children in the shelter program alone
  • This donation helped them purchase sheet sets and towels for the shelter 
  • Willow Place rarely has funds to replace supplies with new things, and generally rely on gently-used items from community donors
