As a province-wide organization, the Alzheimer Society offers Help for Today through information, education and support for people living with dementia and Hope for Tomorrow by funding dementia research and advocating for change within all levels of government.

The Alzheimer Society walks alongside families living with dementia from an uncertain and worrisome time of noticing the early signs of dementia right through to the late stages and end of life decisions.

Through their First Link® program, the Society connects people with dementia and their families to information, support services, resources and education as early as possible, and throughout the progression of the disease.

$2,500 Donated to Bertrun E. Galvin School
- Many of the students attending Bertrun E Galvin school suffer from food insecurity
- Kids who are hungry, often struggle to focus on literacy and numeracy activities.
- The teachers decided to start a school “Snack Cart” program
- The Snack Carts will offers kids a variety healthy food items like fruit, yogurt and granola bars
- The cost of food and groceries has risen tremendously in recent months has made it difficult to operate the program
- Winnipeg Kinsmen are thrilled to donate $2,500 to Bertrun E. Galvin School to help the program continue
- Thanks to all of you, we are able to support programs like this!
