  • Air Cadet League of Canada’’s mission is to promote and encourage youth to develop and maintain interest in aviation, leadership and citizenship
  • In partnership with the Canadian Armed Forces, Air Cadet League provides support to 24 community committees throughout Manitoba. 
  • One of the first Air Cadet Squadrons in Canada was formed in Winnipeg
  • Currently there are 1,600 Air Cadets benefiting from the program in Manitoba 
  • Air Cadet League of Canada strives to promote physical fitness
  • To stimulate the interest of youth in the aviation and aerospace industry

  • Winnipeg Kinsmen donated $1,000 to Wilderness Committee Manitoba
  • Wilderness Committee strives for the protection of wild spaces, species, and healthy communities
  • In 2008, they helped get logging banned in all but one of our provincial parks
  • Currently, they are working on banning  logging in Duck Mountain Provincial Park
