Featured Charity – Nine Circles Community Health Centre

Nine Circles Community Health Centre, with expertise in the care and treatment of HIV, Hepatitis C and other sexually transmitted infections, delivers comprehensive primary care, social support, education and prevention services – creating healthier communities for Manitobans.
- Nine Circle Community Health Centre is an amalgamation of four AIDS Service Organizations (ASOs), which emerged in the late 1980s to early 1990s. They incorporated in 2001 and now Nine Circles and the Manitoba HIV Program provide support to the majority of Manitoba’s HIV-positive population and effectively advancing the quality of primary care and treatment services.
- Nine Circles provides a wide range of programs and services to their clients to support them where they are at including: Primary Care and Clinical services, Health Promotion and health education, services for those living with HIV such as our assistance fund, food bank, and group support, community education to provide ways to talk about harm reduction and sexually transmitted and blood-borne infections (STBBIs), and drop in harm reduction services that provide access to life preserving items and healthcare for those who are facing systemic barriers to healthcare.
- How you can get involved: Donate online or in-person by cheque, host fundraising drives for much needed items such as monetary donations, socks, shoes, dental and hygiene items, attend our “Taste for Life” event in April or “Red Ribbon” events in November of 2023, or consider volunteering a few hours a week.
