  • Indigenous Languages of Manitoba Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring the strength and survival of our Indigenous languages.

  •  The importance of preserving and promoting these languages is key to strengthening a sense of identity and belonging in everyday life.
  • 7 Manitoban Indigenous languages, Ininimowin, Anishinaabemowin, Anishinimowin, Dene, Dakota, Michif and Inuktitut. Ininimowin = traditional name for Cree language, Anishinaabemowin = traditional name for Ojibwe language, and Anishinimowin = traditional name for Ojibwe-Cree language.
  • VISION: To see that every Indigenous person will have the opportunity to be fluent in their mother tongue.
  • MISSION: To be the leader in supporting Indigenous Peoples to preserve, protect and advance their mother tongue to ensure that traditional knowledge, history, culture and values are passed on to our future generations.

All donations go directly to keeping Indigenous language programming free and running, to the development of language resources, and documentation and translation services.

  • Inclusion Selkirk exists to walk along side individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families in their life’s journey.
  • The Association for Community Living Selkirk, now operating as Inclusion Selkirk, is an organization built on relationships and love for our community. 
  • Established in 1956, by two moms, sitting around their kitchen table, figuring out how their children could grow up in their community, it is now one of the largest non-profit organizations in rural Manitoba.
  • This donation supports the second phase of Project Opportunity for the organization, a project that involves building a new completely accessible 4 floor mixed-use building.
  • This development is intended to be the hub of all of the organization’s community activities.
