50th Ball – Charity Feature – Lighthouse Mission
- Lighthouse Mission is a non-profit organization located in Winnipeg’s core
- They partner with local organizations, churches, businesses and individuals to provide hope, support and encouragement to Winnipeg’s most vulnerable
- What started as a church in 1911 became a soup kitchen in 1930 to meet the needs of the homeless population that had skyrocketed due to the Great Depression
- Today, Lighthouse Mission remains committed to serving the disadvantaged and homeless, while providing an opportunity for the church and community to partner with them

- One Voice One Team is gearing up for their second year in Manitoba!
- OVOT is a non-profit organization that provides youth leadership and empowerment programs to school-age children
- Winnipeg Kinsmen provided funding for the first of a three-year program that focuses on:
- The S.W.O.L.E summer camps
- Youth employment
- Presentations for schools
- Anti-racist training for educators
- Their programs blend mentorship and life skills coaching with sport and physical activities to develop the leadership abilities necessary to attain success in the biggest game of all, the game of life
