Cystic Fibrosis is proud to announce Trikafta is now approved for individuals aged two years and older with the most common CF mutation across Canada with almost all provinces and territories funding the drug. However, our work is far from over. We’re pushing for those with rare mutations to also have access to this life-changing medication, ensuring that no one is left behind.

DASCH Foundation – For fifty years, DASCH has provided supportive housing alternatives (58 homes located throughout the City of Winnipeg), person-centered 24-hour care, community-based day services, social and recreational programming and vocational training for children, youth and adults with intellectual disabilities in the community.

KIDTHINK is a non-profit children’s mental health centre located in Manitoba that received its charitable status in January of 2019. KIDTHINK is committed to nurturing brighter futures through the early intervention and prevention of mental health challenges in children aged 12 and under, as well as supporting their families. KIDTHINK operates with the understanding that it is crucial to not only treat the child, but to empower those in the child’s community to best support their journey. This includes providing care and resources to parents, caregivers, pediatricians, teachers, and more.

Virden Pet Network was the first pet rescue to establish in south-western Manitoba. It was founded in 2007 by two neighbours who were disturbed by the number of stray cats roaming the town. It became a registered charity with the CRA in 2008 and has been rescuing and rehoming pets ever since.
